About the position

At Tullängsgymnasiet, we are now looking for two vocational teachers for the Electrical and Energy Program. One position is for the specialization in electrical engineering and the other for the specialization in computer and communication technology. The position in electrical engineering is 100% and the one in computer and communication technology is 80%. In your role as a teacher, you will plan, implement, and follow up on teaching, as well as actively support and motivate students in their development, both socially and academically.

Examples of job responsibilities:

• teaching vocational subjects in the Electrical and Energy Program's specialization in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer and Communication Technology
• mentorship
• joint planning and follow-up of work with colleagues

About the workplace

Tullängsgymnasiet is a modern technical high school located in the south of Örebro, which has a high attractiveness for young people. The school has a close collaboration with the business community. We offer vocational training in Construction and Civil Engineering, Computer and Communication Technology, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Technology, Transport, and HVAC. We also have a higher education preparatory Technology Program.

The school also has a National Gymnasium for students with deafness, hearing impairment, or language disorders, as well as an Adapted High School and the National Gymnasium's Adapted High School.

Tullängsgymnasiet has about 1200 students and about 200 employees.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• licensed teacher in vocational subjects in electrical engineering and/or computer and communication, alternatively similar qualifications to teach at the high school level or qualified professional experience in the relevant field
• qualified electrical installer (for the position in electrical engineering)

• experience with KNX, Control Technology, and Building Automation
• experience in E-sports
• experience in electrical installation

Employment rate: 100% and 80%
